Bring Back Titan Football

Promoting the Reinstatement of the Cal State Fullerton Football Team

Bringbacktitanfootball.com is a website dedicated to the reinstatement of the Cal State Fullerton Football Team to active and competitive status. No matter if the team was winning championships or experiencing a difficult season, many students, alumni and fans were supportive of the program up until its suspension. We believe that reinstating the Cal State Fullerton Football Team will provide a greater sense of pride and cohesiveness among current students, alumni and the community at large in the greater Orange County, California area. One of the main arguments for the suspension of the Cal State Fullerton Football program in 1992 was overall apathy and a lack of fan support. We believe that apathy no longer exists in today's climate. By reading this passage and by visiting this website you have taken a positive step forward towards eventually bringing back the Titan Football program.

Daily Titan Article Announces Working Group Formed

Titan HouseThe 2008 Fall semester at Cal State Fullerton started off with a bang with the publishing of a news article by Raj Modha of the Daily Titan. In the article Modha broke the news that the Cal State Fullerton Athletics Department has put together a “working group” through the athletics advisory committee that will investigate the feasibility to potentially bring back Titan Football.

Read the entire article at the Daily Titan’s online location.

The working group will meet August 27 at the Titan House on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. Although the Titan House has been converted into CSUF Athletic Department offices for quite some time now, this meeting location could be viewed as highly symbolic. The Titan House was the home to the Titan Football offices before the team’s suspension in 1992.

The fact that an official University recognized working group comprised of current students, alumni, former Titan Football players and Athletic Department officials has been formed could be a major step in reinstating a program that has sat dormant for over 15 years.

We encourage everyone to read the Raj Modha article in the Daily Titan. Please post comments and questions you would like answered by the working group while they are in the process of examining the potential of bringing back Titan Football.
