The University of South Alabama opened a new chapter in it’s history last weekend. Last weekend marked the inaugural game for the Jags who just started their football program from scratch. Take a look at the video from a local news station on what scene was like at that game.
Just imagine, this same excitement and school spirit could be happening at Cal State Fullerton if it had a football program. Sadly, until we bring back Titan Football, the tailgating lots and the gridiron at Titan Stadium will remain silent.
Through the power of the internet, video proof the Titans did indeed play football and it was on TV has made its way to YouTube. This video includes the first half highlights of the Sept. 23, 1989 game against San Diego State at Jack Murphy Stadium. The game ended in a 41-41 tie.
