Bring Back Titan Football

Promoting the Reinstatement of the Cal State Fullerton Football Team

Bringbacktitanfootball.com is a website dedicated to the reinstatement of the Cal State Fullerton Football Team to active and competitive status. No matter if the team was winning championships or experiencing a difficult season, many students, alumni and fans were supportive of the program up until its suspension. We believe that reinstating the Cal State Fullerton Football Team will provide a greater sense of pride and cohesiveness among current students, alumni and the community at large in the greater Orange County, California area. One of the main arguments for the suspension of the Cal State Fullerton Football program in 1992 was overall apathy and a lack of fan support. We believe that apathy no longer exists in today's climate. By reading this passage and by visiting this website you have taken a positive step forward towards eventually bringing back the Titan Football program.

Titan Football Photo Gallery: Damon Allen

There have been a lot of great football players to have played at Cal State Fullerton. It can be argued that Damon Allen was the greatest. His collegiate career at Cal State Fullerton was impressive winning two Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA) championships and he broke seven school records. Allen’s professional career in the Canadian Football League was even more impressive. Allen recently retired at the age of 44 after setting the All-Time CFL record with 72,381 passing yards. That record is approximately 20,000 more passing yards than second-place Anthony Calvillo. Here is a tribute in pictures to Damon Allen. Arguably the greatest football player to ever wear a Cal State Fullerton football uniform.

  1. Scott Gerould Says:

I never saw Damon Allen play in college (i’m too young for that) but those records are impressive. he played until he was 44 years old? What a warrior. A true titan for sure. Damon Allen is a wonderful example of why CSF needs to bring back football. To carry on the tradition of great athletes like Damon.

  2. What a great player! He could beat you with his legs or his arms. Of all of my Titan memories, the saddest moment was the loss to UNLV at the Silver Bowl which kept up out of the Cal Bowl.

  3. Richard Bergstrom Says:

Nice web site but it does not go far enough. Need more information on the reasons for supporting a football team.

  4. Henry Tran Says:

Don’t forget that D.A. also played baseball for Augie.

  5. Just thought I’d share this opinion piece I saw on a blog site.
