Bring Back Titan Football

Promoting the Reinstatement of the Cal State Fullerton Football Team

Bringbacktitanfootball.com is a website dedicated to the reinstatement of the Cal State Fullerton Football Team to active and competitive status. No matter if the team was winning championships or experiencing a difficult season, many students, alumni and fans were supportive of the program up until its suspension. We believe that reinstating the Cal State Fullerton Football Team will provide a greater sense of pride and cohesiveness among current students, alumni and the community at large in the greater Orange County, California area. One of the main arguments for the suspension of the Cal State Fullerton Football program in 1992 was overall apathy and a lack of fan support. We believe that apathy no longer exists in today's climate. By reading this passage and by visiting this website you have taken a positive step forward towards eventually bringing back the Titan Football program.

YouTube Viral Video With Titan Football Connection

We’ve all seen them floating around the internet. They are called viral videos. They always seem to get posted on blogs and forwarded to us via email. Whether it be Kobe Bryant jumping over an Aston Martin or more recently a video called David After Dentist, these videos take off like wildfire and are seen by thousands and sometimes millions of viewers. Last week another one of those viral videos was circulating depicting a young man jumping out of a pool. What made this video go viral was the fact that the young man jumped completely out of the shallow end and landed on his feet on the deck. You have to see it to believe it.

The young man doing the jumping is Jarron Gilbert, a defensive lineman from San Jose State. Jarron’s dad is Daren Gilbert who played for the Cal State Fullerton Titan Football team in the mid-1980’s. The elder Gilbert was eventually drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 2nd round (38th overall) of the 1985 NFL Draft. Jarron Gilbert was recently in Indianapolis participating in the NFL Scouting Combine and is projected as a Top 5 Defensive Line prospect and could potentially get drafted in the 1st round.

To see another impressive video of Jarron demonstrating his uncanny physical strength, check out the video below where he squats 635 pounds and dead lifts 655 pounds.

Also, check out Jarron’s Junior and Senior season highlight reels. In his Senior season he was named WAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year recording 65 tackles and 9 1/2 sacks. He also racked up 22 tackles for loss which was tops in all of the FBS. (formerly known as Division 1-A)
